A family from Indore observed a theft of about 30 lakh rupees in their home while they were away visiting the Vaishno Devi shrine.
In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a family discovered that around 30 lakh rupees worth of valuables were stolen from their home while they were away for a pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi. The incident took place in Daggar Mohalla where the house was targeted due to its vacancy during the family's absence. Thieves broke locks and entered the house, making away with cash and jewelry. The entire crime was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, which could be instrumental in identifying the culprits.
According to local reports, the burglars broke into cupboards and lockers to steal gold jewelry and cash while the family was away. When the homeowners returned, they found their belongings thrown around the house, indicating that the thieves had spent a significant amount of time searching through their possessions. The shocked family immediately reported the incident to the police upon discovering the broken locks and disarray in their home.
Promptly, police and crime teams from the local Banganga station arrived at the crime scene. Fingerprint experts were also called in to gather evidence, and investigations commenced using footage from nearby CCTV cameras. This incident highlights the growing concern regarding home security in the area, particularly for families who travel away from home for extended periods.
