Opening of the 'Welcome Ramadan' Exhibition in Cairo with 25% Discounts.. Discover the Prices

The 'Welcome Ramadan' exhibition has opened in Cairo, offering 25% discounts on various essential goods as part of the government's initiative to ease costs for citizens ahead of Ramadan.

The 'Welcome Ramadan' exhibition, inaugurated by Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber and Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk, has opened in East Cairo and will run until February 19. The exhibition is a key part of the government's strategy to expand market access by setting up fairs and selling points that provide basic food items at reduced prices. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on citizens, especially with the approach of Ramadan when consumption rates typically increase.

Spanning over 3,500 square meters, the exhibition features around 120 exhibitors from major companies and producers. It will operate daily from 10 AM to 10 PM local time, showcasing an extensive range of food and consumer goods including meats, poultry, oils, sugar, rice, legumes, and traditional Ramadan products, all offered at discounts of 15% to 25% compared to regular market prices. This is tailored to help families prepare for Ramadan more affordably.

Local media reports indicate that the 'Future of Egypt' initiative has also introduced a selection of basic food items at subsidized prices. Such efforts are particularly significant during this sacred month, as the demand for food and essential goods increases, and the government actively seeks to stabilize prices and ensure that citizens have access to necessary commodities at fair rates.
