Durazo accelerates transformation of northern Sonora with investment in health, scholarships and infrastructure

Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño is driving significant investments in health, education, and infrastructure in northern Sonora to enhance social welfare and regional development.

Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño recently led a strategic work tour in northern Sonora, focusing on health, education, and infrastructure. This initiative is part of his administration's commitment to social welfare, equity, and regional development. Alongside health officials and municipal leaders, Durazo inaugurated the Santa Ana Regional Vaccine Center (CRVSA), which is a crucial element in building the state's network for the storage, preservation, and distribution of vaccines.

The CRVSA will ensure timely vaccine availability, strengthen the cold chain logistics, and improve emergency health response capabilities across 27 municipalities in northern Sonora, including notable areas like Nogales, Caborca, and Puerto Peñasco. This facility is equipped with specialized cold storage facilities and strategic logistics to guarantee efficient regional coverage. The governor's efforts highlight a significant push towards enhancing public health infrastructure in response to community needs.

This investment not only addresses immediate health concerns but is also part of a broader strategy to elevate education and infrastructure in the region. By prioritizing these areas, Durazo aims to improve quality of life and foster equitable growth across the northern parts of Sonora, ultimately leading to a more resilient and well-supported community.
