MP: Private School's Negligence Results in 13 Students Missing 12th Exam

Due to the negligence of Gayatri Vidyapeeth Higher Secondary School in Khargone, 13 students were unable to sit for their 12th-grade English board exam.

In Khargone district, the Gayatri Vidyapeeth Higher Secondary School failed to submit the exam fees for 13 students, preventing them from taking the English board exam for the 12th grade. The school management collected the examination forms from the students but did not send the fees to the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education on time, resulting in the failure to generate the students' admit cards.

The incident took place in Bheekangaon, about 40 kilometers from the district headquarters. The school had filled out examination forms for 23 regular students in the 10th and 12th grades but neglected to ensure the timely payment of the required fees. The situation escalated when, just two days before the exam scheduled for February 10, students discovered they had not received their admit cards, leading to panic and confusion. Upon contacting the school, they learned that their fees had not been submitted.

Outraged parents rushed to the school to confront the management, leading to chaos and protests outside the premises. The incident highlights a severe lapse in school administration and has raised concerns among the community regarding the education system's reliability in the region. The negligence and ensuing outcry may push local authorities to take action against the school's management to ensure accountability and prevent such occurrences in the future.
