Govt trains youths in leadership skills
The Lagos State Government has launched the seventh edition of the Ibile Youth Academy, a program aimed at enhancing leadership skills among the youth.
The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development has officially launched the seventh edition of the Ibile Youth Academy, focusing on leadership training for young individuals. The opening ceremony took place at the Faculty of Education Conference Hall in Lagos State University, where the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, emphasized the government's long-term commitment to developing the potential of the youth. He recognized that investing in young leaders is crucial for fostering sustainable development in Nigerian society.
Commissioner Ogunlende stated that the core philosophy behind the Ibile Youth Academy is the belief that nurturing the talents and skills of the younger generation ultimately leads to profound societal benefits. He highlighted that youths possess the innovative mindset, energy, and leadership qualities essential for driving progress and good governance in Lagos State and beyond.
