For the World Cup, Aerolíneas launches more flights to Miami from Córdoba, Rosario, and Tucumán
Aerolíneas Argentinas is increasing its international flights to Miami from cities in Argentina in anticipation of the World Cup.
Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced new international flights connecting Córdoba, Rosario, and Tucumán to Miami, starting June 8, in light of the upcoming World Cup. These flight services will have a technical stop in Punta Cana and will include two weekly flights from Córdoba on Mondays and Wednesdays, three from Rosario on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and two from Tucumán on Thursdays and Saturdays. The aim of this initiative is to facilitate travel for fans and travelers from the interior of the country to the United States during the football competition, while also enhancing the state's strategy for federal connectivity.
With this expansion, Aerolíneas Argentinas will operate a total of 29 weekly flights to Miami, representing a 93% increase compared to their 2025 schedule for that destination. This significant rise in flight availability is expected to boost travel options for fans eager to attend the World Cup, thereby supporting Argentina's larger strategy to increase accessibility to international destinations for passengers from across the country.
Such moves not only reflect the airline's commitment to improve regional connectivity but also symbolize the anticipation and excitement surrounding the World Cup event, as many fans aim to witness the matches live in one of the world's iconic footballing venues. This increase in flights may also positively impact the local economies of the affected cities as more travelers bring business to the area.
