In Jequitaí, Brazil, a 21-year-old man was arrested on Sunday after police discovered drugs hidden in the house where he lived with his mother. The arrest was initiated following anonymous reports to the Military Police indicating that he was trafficking drugs in the Tomazia de Aquino neighborhood, an area known for its high activity of pedestrians and vehicles. Along with the drugs, officers found a marijuana plant cultivated in the backyard of the residence.

When they knocked on the door, the man answered while holding crack cocaine in one hand and cash in the other. The police were granted permission by his mother, who was present in the house, to conduct a search, which led to the discovery of 26 pieces of crack hidden under his mattress as well as more marijuana and a mobile phone.
