A 22-year-old warehouse worker was arrested in Boa Vista, Brazil, when the Military Police executed a search following a tip-off from a neighbor about drug trafficking in the area. Responding to the report of a continuous flow of people and associated thefts, police arrived at the house situated in the Jóquei Clube neighborhood, where they observed unusual activity and discovered the door ajar. Upon arrival, the officers encountered a gas station attendant outside the property who fled upon noticing the police. He dropped R$ 5 and admitted to having come to the location to buy drugs but panicked at the sight of law enforcement. The attendant's actions reinforced the tip-off about drug trafficking, corroborating the suspicions held by the local community. The police proceeded to investigate further, locating the warehouse worker on the porch, who appeared to become alert to the presence of the police. The subsequent search revealed skank, a potent form of marijuana, hidden under a bed and in the home's attic, leading to the arrest of the warehouse worker and highlighting ongoing concerns over drug-related issues in the neighborhood.
