The registration process for 2,200 available daycare spots in Rio Branco begins on Monday, aimed at children aged 4 months to 5 years.
Starting Monday, November 9th, parents in Rio Branco can register for a lottery for 2,200 available spots in early childhood education daycare centers, an increase of 600 compared to the previous year. The registration can be done online through the Cadastro Γnico de Creche (CAUC/RB) via the city hallβs website or in person at the schools. The registration period will last until November 13th.
The available spots cater to children aged from 4 months up to 5 years and are distributed across several neighborhoods in Rio Branco, including Segundo Distrito, Baixada da Sobral, Floresta, Calafate, Cadeia Velha, TucumΓ£, Belo Jardim, and Cidade do Povo. The increase in available spots is part of an initiative to support working families by providing accessible childcare and quality education in the city.
According to Alysson Bestene, the vice mayor and secretary of education, the expansion of spots aims to help families where parents often work full-time, ensuring that children receive care and early education in a conducive environment. This initiative is welcome news for parents in the region as it addresses the critical need for daycare services and early childhood education opportunities.
