Itaberaba City Hall opens enrollments for municipal daycare and education centers; find out more
The Itaberaba City Hall has opened enrollments for municipal daycare centers and early education units for children aged 1 year and 5 months onwards.
The City Hall of Itaberaba, located 163 km from Feira de Santana, has officially opened registrations for daycare centers and the Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education (Cemeis) aimed at children starting from 1 year and 5 months old. Parents can enroll their children directly at the educational units between 8 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM. The enrollment period will remain open until all available spots are filled.
Currently, six daycare centers operate full-time and one part-time daycare. Additionally, there are two Cemeis offering partial service. According to Rose Magali, the coordinator of municipal management, thereβs a regulation limiting the number of students to 15 per class, ensuring a manageable teacher-to-student ratio that can enhance educational quality and personal attention.
The daycare centers are designed for children up to 3 years old and are organized into groups 1, 2, and 3. This structured enrollment process is crucial for ensuring that young children receive quality early education, which is foundational for their development, preparing them for future learning opportunities in a structured environment.
