Student ID 2026 will be unified with the bus pass card in Campina Grande; issuance begins this Monday (9)

The 2026 student ID in Campina Grande will now be integrated with the bus pass card, starting issuance on Monday, July 9.

Starting July 9, students in Campina Grande will be able to obtain the 2026 student ID, which will now combine the traditional student identification with the bus pass card used for public transportation discounts. This integration aims to streamline the process for students, enabling them to carry just one document instead of two. In addition, the fee for issuing the new ID is set at R$ 35.

The issuance will take place at the Nobus service station located in the Integration Terminal in downtown Campina Grande, operating from 7 AM to 5 PM on weekdays. Students are required to present an official photo ID along with proof of enrollment, whether that is a school declaration for high school students or a registration document for university students. This requirement ensures that only eligible students can obtain the new integrated ID.

The Campina Grande Passenger Transport Companies Union emphasizes that the new student ID will only be valid as a bus pass if it meets specific conditions, highlighting the importance of compliance with transportation regulations. This change is expected to ease the burden on students, who previously had to manage multiple documents, and could potentially increase public transport usage among students in the area.
