The Campina Grande Municipal Government has begun the process of distributing the billing statements for the Urban Property and Land Tax (IPTU) for the year 2026. Residents can benefit from a 10% discount if they opt for a one-time payment by February 28, 2026. This move aims to encourage timely payments and ease the financial burden on property owners.
In addition to the one-time payment option with the discount, taxpayers can choose to pay the entire tax amount in up to ten installments when using the Pix payment method. This flexibility caters to the varying financial situations of the citizens and allows them to manage their tax obligations more effectively.
To obtain the billing statement, residents are directed to visit the 100% Digital IPTU system on the official website of the Campina Grande Municipal Government. Alternatively, they can also request the installment option via the 1Doc platform or through WhatsApp. Physical copies of the billing can be acquired at the Finance Department's headquarters or the Superintendency of Traffic and Public Transport, making the process accessible for all citizens.
