In a bizarre incident in Salvador's upscale neighborhood of GraΓ§a, a man suspected of breaking into a residential building found himself trapped upside down in the gate. The incident occurred on Saturday night, after the suspect was spotted inside the building's garage. When he noticed the residents' movements, he attempted to flee by jumping over the gate but got caught between the bars, exposing part of his body outside the property.
Residents were alarmed by the situation and alerted the authorities. The 11th Independent Police Company (CIPM) arrived on the scene, confirming that a break-in had occurred. They subsequently called the Fire Department to assist in rescuing the man, who had sustained injuries to his leg while stuck in the gate. Firefighters managed to extricate him from the metal bars, and he was subsequently taken to a healthcare facility for treatment.
