A man, aged 24, has been arrested in Serrinha, Bahia, accused of breaking into a commercial establishment and stealing money a day after his release from prison. The police reported that he left the Conjunto Penal de Serrinha just before committing the crime. The break-in occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and the suspect allegedly stole R$ 1,177 in cash and a cellphone from the store.
The local police became aware of the incident and responded quickly, being alerted by reports about the break-in. Officers were subsequently able to locate the suspect with the help of security camera footage from the store, which provided visual evidence crucial for identifying him. During the arrest, police found a replica gun with the suspect, escalating the gravity of his alleged crimes.
