The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Nigeria has urged young people to recognize and promote the benefits of the nation's rich cultural diversity. During the cultural carnival held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Unity Permanent Orientation Camp in Anambra State, NYSC State Coordinator Pauline Ojisua emphasized that cultural diversity should not be seen as a source of division but rather as a means to foster unity, peace, and sustainable development in the country.

Ojisua highlighted that the carnival served as a platform to showcase Nigeria's diverse heritage and explore wealth opportunities through culture. With over 250 ethnic groups contributing to Nigeria’s identity, she underscored the importance of youths engaging with their cultural backgrounds and leveraging it to create economic opportunities through exports of cultural products and services.

The event not only celebrated the various cultural expressions within the nation but also aimed to instill a sense of pride among the youths regarding their identities. Ojisua's message calls for unity through diversity, turning cultural heritage into a strong foundation for national progress, and highlights the potential for growth that comes from embracing cultural differences.
