On February 7, the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY) predicts that western Greece, eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and the Eastern Aegean will experience increased cloudiness accompanied by local rain and isolated thunderstorms. The remaining areas of the country are expected to have a few clouds with temporary increases in cloud cover, particularly in central and northern Greece, where local rains will occur in the afternoon. Additionally, there may be brief snowfalls in the western and northern mountainous regions. Visibility in the mornings and evenings will be locally limited, especially in northern parts of mainland Greece, while winds will be blowing from the west-northwest at speeds of 4 to 6 Beaufort.
