In a violent incident that occurred in São Geraldo do Baixio, Brazil, two cousins aged 20 and 29 have been arrested for the suspected murder of a local man named Robert Cândido Ramos da Cruz, who was shot dead in the early hours of Saturday. According to the Military Police, Ramos was shot multiple times near a local event location and died at the scene. Following the incident, the Civil Police conducted an investigation that led to the discovery of the victim's body, which was subsequently sent to the Medical-Legal Institute in Governador Valadares for autopsy.

The authorities were able to identify the suspects through a review of security camera footage, which played a crucial role in their apprehension. One of the suspects, a 20-year-old, was found at his home and confessed to firing two shots that resulted in the victim's death.
