A family was rescued from a submerged pickup truck in Matupá, Brazil, after a heavy storm led to severe flooding in the region. The incident occurred as a couple and their three children, aged between 7 and 11 years, became trapped inside their vehicle while attempting to cross a flooded street. The flood was caused by the overflow of a local creek, resulting in dangerous conditions for the residents of the area.

The rescue operation involved the local Military Police and firefighters who responded quickly to the scene after being alerted about the stranded family. Upon arrival, they assessed the situation and determined that in order to free the trapped children, the windows of the pickup truck needed to be broken. Fortunately, the family managed to climb onto the vehicle's roof for safety as water levels rose inside the truck, and they were eventually unharmed during the rescue efforts.
