In Cachoeira Paulista, São Paulo, a severe storm on the night of October 6th to the early hours of October 7th caused a local stream, the Córrego do Moinho, to overflow, leading to flooding on a section of the railway line. According to the Civil Defense department, the flooding affected the area between Avenida dos Puris and Avenida dos Ferroviários, blocking access under the railway bridge. The situation is currently being monitored, and the authorities are assessing the damage and the necessary repairs.
