Eliana Gonzaga, the city’s mayor, communicated to TV Bahia that approximately 80 families have been affected by the rain this morning; however, there is currently no precise information regarding the number of individuals displaced or evacuated. The municipal Civil Defense is in the process of assessing the situation and the extent of damages caused by the deluge.
