Manaus and Caracas resume direct international flight
Manaus will once again have a direct international flight to Caracas, Venezuela, starting February 24, operated by Rutaca Airlines with two weekly frequencies.
Starting February 24, Manaus, Brazil, will resume its direct international flight to Caracas, Venezuela. This new route was announced on Friday (6) and will be operated by Rutaca Airlines, having two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. The flight from Manaus will depart at 3:40 AM, reaching MaiquetÃa International Airport in Caracas at 6:20 AM, while return flights will leave Caracas at 11:30 PM and arrive in Manaus at 2:20 AM.
Carlos Villegas, the business director of Rutaca, explained that Manaus was selected due to its strategic potential for the airline's expansion in Brazil. He highlighted that the authorities in Manaus were prepared and willing to support the feasibility of this project, making it an honor for Rutaca to see this initiative come to life. This move significantly enhances connectivity between Brazil and Venezuela, providing better access for travel and trade.
The reestablishment of this direct route is expected to foster stronger ties between the two capitals and facilitate increased tourism and commerce.
