Antônio Francisco Silva e Silva, a 22-year-old man, tragically lost his life in a collision with a bull while riding his motorcycle on BR-316, near Bom Jardim in Maranhão, on Thursday evening. The accident occurred approximately 275 km from São Luís, as he was returning home late at night. Witnesses reported that the bull was roaming freely on the highway, which is a dangerous scenario for motorists.

During the collision, Antônio was seriously injured since he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency care, he succumbed to his injuries soon after being admitted. This incident brings to light the significant risks posed by livestock wandering on roads, which can lead to severe accidents, especially at night when visibility is low.

Antônio worked at a local supermarket and was a resident of the Tirirical community.
