The incident took place on the Eduardo Dias de Castro Highway in the district of Fernão. Preliminary reports indicate that the motorcyclist collided with the rear of a vehicle that was traveling in the same direction, causing him to fall onto the road where he was subsequently run over by a tractor following behind.
