Russian diplomat sentenced for treason. He was supposed to pass on secret data to the USA

A Moscow court has sentenced Arsenij Konowałow, a former employee of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to 12 years in a high-security penal colony for treason related to the transfer of secret information to U.S. intelligence.
