Italian ski jumper Andrea Campregher experienced a serious accident during training at Vikersund, Norway, when his ski caught air early in the jump, leading him to crash down uncontrollably. The incident occurred on a Thursday, prompting an immediate response and concern for Campregher’s wellbeing. Following the accident, he underwent surgery at Ullevål University Hospital on March 21 but was reported to be in good spirits and able to stand shortly thereafter.
