According to a recent survey commissioned by LRT, Lithuanians have identified their preferred candidates for the upcoming presidential elections in 2029. The survey results showed that Ignas Vėgėla could secure 10.4% of the votes, closely followed by Remigijus Žemaitaitis with 9.7%, and Ingrida Šimonytė with 8.7%. Notably, women tended to support Shimonytė, with 11.2% of female respondents favoring her, in comparison to male respondents who showed equal support for Vėgėla and Žemaitaitis at 11.8%.
