In a disturbing incident in Mathura's Kosi Kalan area on March 21, a well-known cow protector, Chandrashekhar, also known as Baba Farsa Wale, died in a road accident. The accident occurred when he stopped a container truck loaded with grocery items on suspicion, leading to a collision with an uncontrolled truck from behind that resulted in his death. In the aftermath, his enraged supporters caused chaos by blocking NH-19 near Chhata by placing his body on the road, attacking police and administrative officials who came to mediate. The situation escalated as the crowd resorted to stone-pelting and firing, prompting the police to take necessary actions to restore order, leading to the arrest of about two dozen rioters.
