Protests erupted in Mathura following the murder of a well-known cow protector, 'Farsa Wale Baba', by alleged cow traffickers.

In Mathura's Kosi Kalan area, a prominent cow protector known as 'Farsa Wale Baba', or Saint Chandrashekhar, was allegedly murdered after being crushed by a vehicle driven by suspected cow traffickers. This incident sparked outrage among hundreds of cow protectors who subsequently blocked the Delhi-Agra highway at Chhata, leading to severe traffic congestion as vehicles came to a standstill.

Reports indicate that 'Farsa Wale Baba' had received intelligence about the presence of active cow traffickers in the region. Acting upon this information, he had ventured out on his motorcycle at around 4 AM to pursue the suspicious individuals. However, the traffickers did not stop when confronted; instead, they rammed their vehicle into his bike, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.

The tragic news spread rapidly, inciting a furious response from cow protectors who gathered to demand justice. They initiated protests on the highway, blocking trucks and other vehicles, which resulted in a massive jam in the Chhata region of the Delhi-Agra highway. Amid the chaos, some bystanders managed to capture one suspect, a Muslim youth, although the circumstances of the incident remain chaotic and uncertain.
