The second edition of Expo Latitude Zero 2026 attracted 2,500 attendees and delegates from Colombia and Peru, showcasing significant contributions to photography and cinematography in Latin America.
On March 20 and 21, 2026, the second edition of Latin America's most important photography exhibition, Expo Latitude Zero 2026, took place with great success, registering an attendance of 2,500 people. The event was held in the Hilton Colón hotel located in the northern center of Guayaquil, Ecuador, and featured delegations from Colombia and Peru, alongside photography enthusiasts from Guayaquil, Loja, and Cuenca.
The expo included 20 master classes led by prominent global figures in photography and cinematography. Notably, Santiago Uribe, a renowned Ecuadorian photographer and tourism ambassador since 2018, conducted a class designed to illustrate the differences in working landscapes, comparing experiences in the jungle with the world of sports photography. Additionally, Uribe received several accolades during the event for his outstanding photographs displayed at the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), with which he collaborates on audiovisual materials for its various channels.
The event was not only a platform for learning and skill development through workshops but also highlighted the participation of notable companies and innovations in the photography sector. Expo Latitude Zero 2026 serves as a crucial venue for networking and collaboration among professional photographers, providing them with opportunities to enhance their craft and engage with industry leaders, while promoting Ecuador as a pivotal location for artistic events in Latin America.
