Two men, aged 26 and 40, tragically drowned at Praia Grande, located on the São Paulo coast, on Sunday, October 23. The group of marine firefighters (GBMar) reported that both victims were pulled from the sea unconscious, and beachgoers assisted rescuers in bringing them to safety. Although resuscitation efforts were implemented on the beach, the individuals were ultimately transported to a local health facility where they were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The incident occurred near the Tupi neighborhood, where emergency services mobilized three vehicles and six firefighters to respond to the tragic situation. GBMar later received reports about a possible third victim of drowning, prompting the rescue teams to remain on-site to investigate further. However, there was no confirmation of a third individual involved in the incident at that time.

This unfortunate event highlights the dangers associated with swimming in the ocean, particularly in crowded tourist areas.
