Pärnu Volleyball Club secured a strong position in the Estonian Championship semifinals, leading 2-0 against Võru Barrus.

This season, Pärnu Volleyball Club aims for all three titles, having already claimed two — the Estonian Cup and the Baltic League trophy. They are now on the brink of reaching the finals in the Estonian Championships, leading their semifinal series against Võru Barrus 2-0. In the first match, they achieved a decisive 3-0 victory at home.

The second match proved to be more challenging for Pärnu, with an initial strong start where they won the first set 25-19. However, they suffered a setback in the second set, losing 15-25. The third set became a crucial turning point, a tightly contested battle that ultimately finished in Pärnu's favor at 29-27. In the fourth set, however, Võru struggled and Pärnu decisively took it 25-13, concluding the match with an overall score of 3-1.

The match was played in front of 500 spectators, where Daniel Pita was Pärnu's standout player, scoring 19 points, followed by Toms Švans with 13 points, and Taavet Leppik contributing 12 points. Renato Santos was the top scorer for Võru, achieving 29 points. Post-match comments were provided by Vassilev and Pärnu libero Alari Saar, reflecting on the team's performance and strategies.
