The Croatian deaf futsal national team achieved a historic win by securing a bronze medal at the 7th European Championship held in Poreč. They convincingly defeated Turkey with a score of 6-2 in the third-place match, marking Croatia’s first-ever medal in deaf futsal history. From the outset of the match, Croatia showcased strong control and organization, leading to a well-deserved victory and a place on the podium.

Croatia started the match with aggressive pressure, aiming for an early goal which they accomplished in the 9th minute when Anton Lalić scored, putting them ahead 1-0. Although Turkey managed to equalize in the 16th minute through Seriff Memet, Croatia responded quickly, with Lalić netting his second goal just before halftime in the 19th minute, restoring their lead to 2-1. This back-and-forth display highlighted the team’s resilience and determination under pressure.
