A man in Paraíba is suspected of murdering his wife and subsequently attempting suicide.
A tragic incident occurred in Guarabira, Paraíba, where a 55-year-old man, José Porfírio Soares, is suspected of stabbing his 45-year-old wife, Lucélia Lima Santos Soares, to death in their home. Following the alleged murder, the suspect reportedly lay next to his wife's lifeless body and attempted to commit suicide. When police arrived at the scene, they found him injured but conscious next to the victim. He was subsequently taken to the Regional Hospital of Guarabira for medical treatment, where he remains in custody.
