Larissa Iapichino has added to Italy's medal tally at the indoor athletics World Championships in Torun, Poland, with a silver medal in the long jump event. Iapichino's jump of 6.87 meters placed her second, just behind Portugal’s Agate De Sousa, who won gold with a leap of 6.92 meters. Completing the podium was Colombia's Natalia Linares, who won bronze with a jump of 6.80 meters. This marks Italy's fourth medal at the championships following earlier victories by Andy Diaz in the triple jump, Nadia Battocletti in the 3000 meters, and Zaynab Dosso in the 60 meters.
