Australia's Nicola Olyslagers has made headlines by winning the silver medal in the women’s high jump at the World Athletics Indoor Championships held in Toruń, Poland. Olyslagers, a two-time defending champion and the world indoor champion for 2024 and 2025, cleared a height of 1.99 metres. She shared this silver medal with Serbia’s Angelina Topić and Ukraine's Yuliia Levchenko, while Ukraine's Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who is the Olympic champion and world record holder, secured gold with a jump of 2.01 metres.
