However, the surge in their popularity has led to the proliferation of counterfeit versions in the market, raising concerns about safety standards. The OPSS has specifically flagged a counterfeit Labubu toy that is green in color, features a soft-filled design, and includes a spinning tail with a pull cord, measuring approximately 17cm in height. These counterfeit toys do not adhere to the rigorous safety standards that legitimate products must meet and, as a result, have been linked to serious health risks for users, particularly children. The authorities are urging consumers who purchased this toy to cease use immediately and participate in the recall process.
