A tragic incident occurred in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh when a ropeway trolley at Khajari Mata Temple suddenly fell after its cable broke. The accident claimed the life of a 28-year-old woman named Ayushi from Raipur and left seven others injured, causing panic among the devotees at the temple. The accident took place around 10 AM on Sunday when a group of pilgrims were descending the hill in the trolley, which is situated approximately 3,000 feet above sea level. The temple, which attracted a large number of visitors due to the ongoing Navratri festival, quickly became a scene of chaos as the trolley fell.
