On Friday, a tragic road accident occurred in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, leading to the death of one laborer and injuries to nine others. The incident took place near the Maha Mrityunjay Temple in the Ramapur Maniharan area, where a tractor-trolley filled with workers suddenly lost control and overturned due to a brake failure. The workers were en route from Kairana to a guava orchard in Saharanpur at the time of the accident, which caused a scene of chaos as they and nearby farmers struggled to assist those trapped under the vehicle.
Emergency services were swiftly deployed, with the local police and a field unit arriving on the scene to coordinate rescue and medical assistance. The injured were promptly transported to a district hospital, where unfortunately, one of the laborers, identified as Bobby Deol from Raebareli, was pronounced dead by medical officials. The remaining injured individuals are currently receiving treatment, and the authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, focusing particularly on the mechanical failure of the tractor.
