In a coordinated effort against drug trafficking, the Military Police in Governador Valadares apprehended two men, aged 20 and 24, and a 16-year-old boy. This operation stemmed from reports that a residence in the Santa Helena neighborhood was suspected of being a drug selling point. Following thorough surveillance, police observed activity that indicated drug use and distribution, prompting the decision to intervene.

During the operation, authorities seized 12 bricks of marijuana, several portions of cocaine and crack, along with additional items associated with drug trafficking. As the police moved in, the suspects attempted to escape by jumping over the property’s wall, but they were successfully arrested before they could flee further. This operation marks a significant step in the local police's ongoing efforts to combat drug-related offenses in the area.

The detained individuals, alongside the seized drugs, were taken to the civil police station, where they are expected to face charges related to possession and trafficking of illegal substances.
