In a recent operation executed by the Military Police in the Carapina neighborhood of Governor Valadares, a young man aged 22 was apprehended on charges related to drug trafficking. Authorities received a tip-off indicating that the property was being used for the sale of narcotics, leading to the police encircling the area of suspicion. Upon arriving, officers identified two suspects, aged 22 and 28, with the latter already having an outstanding arrest warrant against him.

The older suspect attempted to escape when he noticed the police, fleeing through back alleys while the 22-year-old stayed behind in the house. As police moved closer to the property, the younger suspect acted nervously and tried to dispose of a pink backpack he was carrying by throwing it into a nearby alley. The police recovered the backpack, which contained 422 pins of cocaine, revealing significant evidence of his involvement in drug distribution activities.
