On Friday afternoon, a serious accident involving four cars occurred in the Caranã neighborhood of Boa Vista, Brazil. The incident took place at the intersection of Avenida Parimé Brasil and Rua Hitler de Lucena, where it was reported that a driver did not yield at the stop and crashed into another vehicle. This collision set off a chain reaction resulting in multiple cars being struck.
The initial impact occurred when a driver traveling on Rua Hitler de Lucena breached the right of way at the intersection, colliding with the left side of a car that was proceeding on Avenida Parimé Brasil. The affected vehicle then collided with a third car, driven by a woman in the right lane, which further impacted a fourth stationary vehicle at the intersection. Emergency services, including the Municipal Civil Guard and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), quickly responded to the scene to assist those involved.
According to reports from the Municipal Civil Guard, the female driver who was part of the chain of accidents suffered severe abdominal pains and was immediately transported to the General Hospital of Roraima for treatment. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported, but this incident highlights the significant risks posed by intersection violations and the importance of adhering to traffic laws to ensure public safety.
