Man arrested after crashing car into public building and hitting three parked vehicles

A 32-year-old man was arrested after crashing his car into a public building in Boa Vista, Brazil, injuring four passengers.

On Friday, a 32-year-old man was apprehended in Boa Vista, Roraima, after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into the Centro Integrado de Comando e Controle (CICC) building. The incident also resulted in damage to three parked vehicles within the vicinity. According to police reports, the man was driving a pickup truck when he failed to navigate a turn properly, leading to the accident. The crash occurred in the Pricumã neighborhood, located in the west zone of the city.

The accident left four passengers aged 21, 28, 31, and 33 injured, prompting immediate medical attention from rescue teams. Fortunately, despite the damage and injuries, there were no fatalities reported. In the aftermath, the driver underwent a breathalyzer test which revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.78 mg/L, indicative of driving under the influence. However, he declined medical assistance following the incident.
