Varginha Tennis Club building officially transferred to the municipality; construction progresses and the first stage may be delivered in 30 days

The Varginha Tennis Club has been officially transferred to the municipality of Varginha, allowing for urban and sports redevelopment projects to proceed.

The Varginha Tennis Club property in Varginha, Minas Gerais, has officially been transferred to the municipality, marking the end of a 25-year state concession. The transfer was unanimously approved by the Minas Gerais Legislative Assembly (ALMG), allowing for the municipality to take ownership of the 35,000-square-meter area, valued at approximately R$ 300 million. This move not only enhances municipal assets but also empowers the local government to advance existing revitalization projects without the constraints of state oversight. The approval from ALMG in November paved the way for the municipality to finally receive the property deed and integrate the area into its urban and sports revitalization plans.
