WHERE TO GO IN PÄRNU? ⟩ The Kurssal returns, mustached, to the party card
The legendary Pärnu event venue, the Kurssal, reopens today under the management of former operator Katrin Kartau.
The Kurssal, one of the most legendary party venues in Pärnu, is reopening its doors today, March 21. After ceasing operations last autumn, the establishment is finding new life under the familiar hands of Katrin Kartau, who previously managed the venue before its latest operator. Just before the grand reopening, the largest pub in Estonia is undergoing a rushed renovation to ensure everything is ready for guests.
Katrin Kartau personally knocked on the closed door of the Pärnu Kurssal, determined to revive the historical building. Alongside her is her partner and business associate, Kaido Plastunov, who is also involved in the operations of the venue. Their plans for the Kurssal include a diverse lineup of events and parties, aiming to attract both longtime patrons and new visitors excited to experience the ambiance of this iconic spot once again.
The revitalization of the Kurssal is seen as a significant boost to Pärnu's cultural scene, especially after the past year saw the venue sitting empty. With a renewed focus on local bands, 90s music groups, and events tailored for the local community, the Kurssal is poised to become a central hub for social activities in the region. The reopening promises to bring life back to the area, making it an exciting destination for summer events and gatherings in Pärnu.
