Unrequited love for a female doctor, spy camera installed in the clinic, created 3,000 private videos
In Rajkot, India, a doctor was arrested for secretly filming a female doctor and her friend, allegedly creating 3,000 private videos and distributing them to local journalists.
A shocking incident has emerged in Rajkot, Gujarat, where cybercrime police have registered a case against Dr. Kamal Nandha and twelve others for extortion, criminal conspiracy, and threats to life, among other charges. The complaint, filed by a prominent 49-year-old doctor, alleges that Dr. Nandha installed a spy camera in the clinic located on Sadhu Vaswani Road and recorded intimate moments between the complainant and his female friend, which were later shared with several local journalists.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagdish Bangarwa provided details to the media regarding the case, emphasizing the serious nature of the allegations against Dr. Nandha, who possesses a BHMS degree. He reportedly concealed a spy camera within a bulb holder at the clinic where the incident took place. The camera was equipped with a memory card that stored the recorded videos. Dr. Nandha would periodically change the memory card to continue capturing footage without detection.
The revelations about the spying activities highlight significant issues related to privacy violations and the ethics of medical professionals. This case not only raises concerns regarding the safety and privacy of individuals but also underscores the importance of stringent measures against such criminal behavior. Authorities are now tasked with addressing the implications of this case, particularly on trust in the medical community in Rajkot and broader societal reactions to such egregious violations of privacy.
