Telebras reported an increase in its operating revenue for 2025, reaching R$ 491 million with a notable improvement in net income after major losses in the previous year.
Telebras concluded the year 2025 with a net operating revenue of R$ 491 million, marking an 18.5% increase compared to R$ 414.3 million in 2024. In the fourth quarter alone, the revenue reached R$ 160.6 million, reflecting a 22% rise from the same period the previous year. The company’s financial turnaround is notable, with a net income of R$ 140.5 million, reversing the loss of R$ 66.6 million recorded in 2024.
The recurring net income, excluding one-time gains from the Sistel pension fund and other non-operational adjustments, was R$ 40.6 million, a significant shift from the recurring loss of R$ 255.1 million in the previous year. Additionally, EBITDA soared to R$ 373.2 million in 2025, representing an astonishing growth of 292.4%, which the company attributes to a combination of increased revenue coupled with strict cost control measures implemented throughout the year.
