This incident follows a series of alarming events, including a Boeing 738's oil circulation alarm during a flight from Sochi to Novosibirsk on March 13, and an Airbus A330 from Aeroflot forced to return due to a valve failure on March 15 while heading from Yekaterinburg to Bangkok. Further, there were problems with thrust reversers on an A320neo upon landing in Khabarovsk on March 12 and a similar issue in S7 Airlines' A320 at Irkutsk Airport on March 10.
