Login via MitID is up again
The login solution NemLog-In is operational again after being unavailable, allowing citizens to check their tax assessments.
The Danish Digitization Agency announced that the login solution NemLog-In is operational again after experiencing downtime. This system is essential for accessing various public services, including checking tax assessments and digital mail through MitID. The service had been interrupted, causing inconvenience for many users who rely on it for important financial information.
By Saturday morning, over 100,000 citizens were waiting to log in and check if they owed money or would receive refunds on their taxes. Since the Danish Tax Agency opened early access on Friday evening, more than 500,000 people have already checked their tax assessments. This year, the Tax Agency expects a high volume of reimbursements, as last year's excess tax refunds totaled over 25 billion kroner paid out to 3.8 million citizens.
The prompt restoration of service is crucial for maintaining trust in the digital infrastructure of Denmark, especially since many citizens rely on it for financial matters. The ongoing stability of the system remains a priority for the Digitization Agency as they work to ensure that public services are accessible and efficient, reflecting the country's commitment to modernizing its administrative processes.
