Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. held a Crew Conference in Athens focusing on safety and the company's operational policies.

Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp., under the interests of Stamatis Chantadani, hosted a Crew Conference on March 17-18 in Athens with the overarching message 'One Team, One Goal: Safety for ALL'. The event brought together company executives and seafarers to strengthen alignment with safety policies, operational standards, and the organization's safety culture. This initiative signifies Seanergy's commitment to safety as a priority amidst the industry's growing challenges.

The company is actively pursuing a fleet renewal program, having recently announced the acquisition of two new Capesize vessels with a deadweight tonnage of 181,500 and equipped with scrubbers from a leading Japanese shipyard. Additionally, they have agreed to sell the M/V 'Squireship', which was built in 2010, indicating a strategic shift in their operations as they modernize their fleet to enhance efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations.

The first newbuilding is expected to be delivered between the second and third quarters of 2027, while a ten-year bareboat charter agreement for the second vessel has been signed, with delivery planned for the first quarter of 2029. This move not only aims to boost the company's operational capacity but also reflects a trend towards sustainable shipping practices and a proactive approach to evolving market demands in the maritime industry.
