Here’s where to request the electoral card

Over 951,000 Milanese citizens, including first-time voters, are called to vote in a constitutional referendum related to the judicial system and the establishment of a disciplinary court, with resources available online for voting information.

In Milan, a total of 951,417 citizens are registered to participate in the upcoming constitutional referendum, with 3,377 young voters casting their ballots for the first time. This referendum addresses important questions regarding the organization of judiciary matters and the potential creation of a disciplinary court. The city has set up 1,249 polling stations across 162 schools, in addition to 367 stations located abroad, to facilitate the voting process.

To ensure voters are well-informed, the Milan municipal website has launched a dedicated page for the referendum, where residents can find answers to frequently asked questions about the voting process. Voters can easily identify their assigned voting location by entering their electoral card number in the 'Where to vote' section. It is mandatory for citizens to present a valid identification document and their electoral card when they arrive at the polling stations.

For individuals who may have lost their electoral card or have exhausted the spaces available for stamps, the city has made provisions allowing them to visit any civil registry office or the Electoral Office at via Messina 52 without needing to schedule an appointment. The Electoral Office, along with another location on via Larga 12, will have extended hours today to accommodate last-minute inquiries and card replacements, opening from 8:30 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours set for tomorrow.
